This special evening brings together short films by emerging and established Black filmmakers, followed by an intimate panel discussion with the creators. Hear about their inspirations, processes, and the themes driving their work, and connect directly with the storytellers shaping today’s cultural landscape.

FRIDAY 24TH - WARM NIGHTS: BLACK HOUSE EDITION

Warm Nights returns with a special Black History Month edition dedicated entirely to Black house music! Born in Chicago’s underground clubs and carried forward by Black DJs and producers across the world, house music is more than a genre. It’s a movement, a culture, and a legacy. This night is a celebration of that history, with sounds that honour its roots and keep the energy alive today.

What to expect:

• DJ Kryss Kelly and friends spinning classic and contemporary Black house music

• A space to dance, connect, and celebrate the culture of house

SATURDAY 25TH - WARM MARKET: CELEBRATING BLACK MAKERS

Warm Studios invites you to Warm Market, a vibrant community celebration of Black-owned businesses, artists, and designers.

From fashion, art, wellness, crafts, and more, this is a space to discover and support incredible makers, connect with community, and celebrate creativity in all its forms. With a children’s creative corner and DJs setting the vibe, this market is for everyone!

FRIDAY 31ST - BOOKED FOR MURDER: A BLACK HISTORY MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT

Presented by Warm Studios x Dope Readers Club

Step inside a story where the ending is up to you.

For this Black History Month, Warm Studios teams up with Dope Readers Club to bring you Booked for Murder, an immersive murder mystery night where literature, history, and play collide.

A legendary Black author has been silenced, and their final manuscript is missing. Six iconic historical figures are suspects, each carrying secrets, clues, and hidden truths. It’s up to you and your team to interrogate the suspects, piece together the evidence, and solve the mystery before the final chapter closes.

What to expect:

• An interactive murder mystery experience inspired by Black literature and history

• Characters drawn from Black British and diaspora writers, thinkers, and creatives

• Detective packs with clues, pages, and riddles to guide your investigation

• Team prizes, including £25 Wingstop vouchers for the winning detectives

• Best Dressed costume contest - come as your favourite literary or historical figure for a chance to win Warm Studios products.
